Brighton Newsletter Winter 2010

Welcome to the winter edition of Brighton News. Over the next few months we have plenty of great promotions and entertainment planned to keep you excited during the coolest months of the year.

Most exciting of all is the chance to win a fantastic winter getaway for two people to Vanuatu with four nights accommodation in the magnificent Grand Hotel. For your chance to win this prize, which includes airfares, transfers, accommodation and breakfast every day of your stay plus $500 spending money, all you need to do is spend $2.50 or more over the main bar, café or restaurant bar between 22 June and 17 August.

Of course winter is the perfect time to take advantage of the warm and inviting atmosphere of our Members Lounge and to see all the live sport on big screens around the club. Once again the State of Origin will be screened throughout the Members Lounge and to get you in the mood, we’ll be serving hot dogs from the bar during each big game!
Next month, look out for our Mega Christmas in July raffle – its going to be huge!  You could win meat trays, seafood vouchers, turkeys, chocolates, beer, wine and ipods.

While Fathers’ Day seems a long way off right now, that first weekend in September always sneaks up. This year we’ve got a great promotion to celebrate Fathers Day that could see you going home with a Nintendo Wii. The Bayview Terrace Restaurant is always fully booked for lunch and dinner on this special day of the year, so why not get organized now and book a table for this important family occasion.

When it comes to live music, we’ve plenty in store including regular appearances from the legendary Peter Byrne who is renowned for his Neil Diamond covers. We also have a fabulous Latin night planned and of course karaoke!
Finally, I invite you to visit our brand new website at www.brightonrsl.com.au. With new, easy to use functions, you’ll quickly be able to search and find all the activities and entertainment you’re interested in every day of the week.
I hope you enjoy this edition of Brighton News and I look forward to seeing you around the Club.
