Brighton Newsletter Winter 2009

Welcome to the winter edition of Brighton RSL’s magazine ‘Brighton News’.

With the cooler seasons now upon us, it’s a great time to drop into the Club where the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Upstairs at the Bayview Terrace Restaurant, our caterer Alfred has some great winter warming dishes on the menu – from succulent steaks and roasts right through to spicy stir fries and curries. With dishes as hearty as these and prices that represent great value, it’s hard to think of anywhere better to dine out. And, in case you’re still not convinced, during July, children can dine free in the evenings from Thursday to Sunday, while in August, we have complimentary soup on offer for everyone who orders a main course.

In keeping with our aim to provide members with great benefits, in this issue of Brighton News we have included some excellent offers from local businesses that are exclusive to you. Please take a look - you’ll find some new
additions to the list of program participants and new offers. It’s worth showing your support for these important businesses within our community.

Fathers’ Day is fast approaching and we urge you to get in early to book a table for lunch or dinner so that you can celebrate with your family.  If Mothers’ Day is anything to go by, our restaurant and function centre will be completely booked out.

We’ve also got some great entertainment lined up with Latin Addiction playing on Saturday June 6th and the Rock ‘n’ Roll band Wizz Catz on Saturday July 11th.

I hope you enjoy this edition of Brighton News and, as always, I look forward to meeting with you in the Club.
